Adventure continues where curiosity takes hold in “Pure Imagination.” Artistic partner Mei-Ann Chen returns to lead Houston’s chamber orchestra. The concert includes the world premiere of Maxime Goulet’s “The Return of Wolf Suite” and a Texas premiere of a new guitar concerto by Austin Wintory, featuring guitarist Mak Grgiä, plus Mozart’s “Sinfonia Concertante for Four Winds” (I. Allegro) and Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 (I. Langsam, schleppend).
