Meanwhile Brewing Co. celebrates the city’s independent literary community at its fifth annual Lagers and Literature event. The expansive beer garden transforms into Austin’s largest independent book fair, featuring award-winning authors, local bookstores, publishers, artists, and literary organizations. This family-friendly event brings together award-winning authors, local booksellers, artists, nonprofits, and an exclusive charitable beer release. Lagers and Literature also marks the culmination of Meanwhile Brewing’s summer-long community book drive. In addition to browsing books and meeting authors, attendees can enjoy live screen printing, flash tattoos, ‘zine-making, and button-making.
