The Kendall County Historic Jail, constructed in 1887, served as the county jail for a century. The Friends of the Kendall County Historic Jail have restored the space, bringing it back to life as a one-of-a-kind museum of Kendall County history. Among many historic exhibits and artifacts from the county, there are also four operable original jail cells.
